Women's SMP
A different pattern needs a different approach
Female hair loss is usually diffuse rather than patterned. Instead of a receding front line, hair thins across the top and crown while the hairline holds, so the first visible sign is a part that looks wider each year and a scalp that shows under bright light. Almost no woman experiencing this wants to shave her head, which means SMP here is nearly always density work.
The technique is the same but the execution is finer. Deposits are placed lighter and more sparsely, matched to hair that is generally longer and often lighter in colour, and concentrated along the part line and through the crown where show-through is worst. The intent is that nobody can tell anything was done — only that your hair looks thicker.
We also treat traction alopecia, which is common after years of tight braids, weaves, extensions or ponytails and shows as thinning at the temples and along the front hairline. SMP restores the appearance of density there and can be combined with hair additions for length.

Matching lighter and longer hair
Pigment tone matters more on lighter hair. Too dark and the deposits show as specks against blonde or light brown hair; matched properly they disappear entirely. We dilute pigment specifically for each client and test before committing, which is why the first session is deliberately light.
Because the work sits under longer hair, sessions are usually shorter than full scalp treatments and most women need two to three. Aftercare is the same — no washing, sweating or sun for four days, then back to your normal routine including colouring, once the area has settled.

Yes, once the four-day aftercare window has passed. The pigment is in your skin, not your hair, so colouring, straightening and blow-drying have no effect on it.
Yes. Pigment is diluted to a much lighter tone for fair hair, and for grey or white hair we work in soft neutral shades that reduce contrast rather than trying to imitate dark follicles.
